Robert Mullen Dead and 4 Hurt in Phoenix Car Accident

 
PHOENIX, AZ (May 27, 2021) – Tuesday night, Robert Mullen died in a two-vehicle crash near 43rd Avenue and Cactus Road.
 
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found out that a pickup truck traveled east on Cactus Road. Then, it attempted to turn left onto 43rd Avenue.
 
As it turned, it failed to yield at the stop sign and crashed with a westbound truck on Cactus Road.
 
Phoenix police spokesperson Sgt. Ann Justus revealed that the westbound truck’s driver was 59-year-old Robert Mullen. Responders took Mullen to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the four occupants in the eastbound truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
 
However, the police said that impairment didn’t play a role in the Phoenix accident.
