Robert Daniels Killed in Head-on Crash on Sierra Highway [Acton, CA]

81-Year-Old Pronounced Dead after Auto Collision near Penman Road in Acton

 
Acton, CA (April 10, 2020) – Tuesday morning, 81-year-old Robert Daniels was killed, while another sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Sierra Highway.
 
CHP only disclosed the identity of the older man, who died at the hospital from his injuries following the crash on Sierra Highway.
 
Moreover, CHP noted that the collision involved a silver Toyota Prius and a silver Toyota 4Runner. However, the events leading up are currently unclear.
 
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities extricated the other individual trapped inside the car.
 
Emergency personnel transported Daniels and the other victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, Daniels eventually succumbed to his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the identity and current condition of the other patient remains undisclosed.
 
The surrounding area on Sierra Highway was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened.
