Woman Dead and Man Injured in Lancaster Accident on 15th Street near Avenue J-8

 
LANCASTER, CA (March 28, 2021) – Friday night, an alleged robbery ended in a fatal crash on 15th Street near Avenue J-8.
 
The authorities received a report of a woman down in front of an apartment at about 8:20 p.m. The incident is located in the 44000 block of 15th Street West, near Avenue J-8.
 
According to the preliminary investigation, two suspects went inside the apartment complex. They may have tried to rob a man. As they attempt to escape, they rode a vehicle. However, a woman came after them and was possibly hit by their light-colored sedan car.
 
Responders took her to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Meanwhile, the man suffered a head wound and his condition remains unknown.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities haven’t disclosed any description of the two male suspects and the identity of the victims.
 
Thus, the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives asked anyone with information about the crash to contact them at 323-890-5500.
