Big Rig Crash on Interstate 880 Leaves Roandy Calderon Dead

 
Oakland, CA (November 28, 2020) – On Friday, 16-year-old Roandy Calderon of San Pablo died in a deadly vehicle crash on Interstate 880.
 
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene at about 12:49 a.m. on the 7th Street off-ramp.
 
When they arrived, they located a Toyota Celica blocking the middle lanes of I-880 at Market Street. They said the vehicle was struck by a big rig.
 
Also, they found Calderon outside the car suffering from fatal injuries.
 
Authorities said it is unclear if Calderon was inside or outside of his car at the time of the Oakland accident.
 
Meanwhile, the big-rig driver was not injured and remained on the scene.
