WOODINVILLE, WA (May 14, 2023) – Friday morning, a road rage crash on State Route 522 near 195th Street sent 1 person to the hospital.

The authorities received a report of the incident just before 6:00 a.m. Then, the investigators used a drone to map out the scene.

“Right now, we’re investigating this as a potential road rage incident, some of the witnesses indicated that possibly these two vehicles were involved in something prior to the collision,” said Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson.

“Once troopers arrived, they found out that there was another vehicle that was involved, which I believe was a Chevy pickup,” added Johnson.

Meanwhile, WSP confirmed that the woman traveling in the car that had overturned fractured her arm. Thus, responders took her to the hospital with serious injuries.

Also, the authorities shut down all lanes of westbound State Route 522 near 195th. Then, all lanes reopened at around 9 a.m.

WSP added that both drivers involved have been cooperative with investigators.

“If someone is driving aggressively just stay away from them, don’t engage, and call us. Let us know the direction, the description of the vehicle,” advised Johnson.
