Road 13 2-Vehicle Collision Seriously Injures Passenger [Grant County, WA]

Grant County, WA (February 11, 2023) On Friday morning, 2 people suffered injuries after a 2-vehicle collision on Road 13-SE, north of Highway 26.

GCSO says that the traffic accident happened at about 7 a.m. at the intersection with Road D-SE, 8 miles northwest of Othello.

Reports say that a northbound vehicle struck an eastbound sedan who did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection.

The collision led both vehicles off the roadway and into a small berm and embankment. Authorities say that the driver who ran the stop sign sustained only minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the passenger on that vehicle suffered major injuries and rescuers had to extricate them from the wreck. Paramedics airlifted the patient to an out-of-area hospital.

Officials say that the crash highly impacted the front passenger door of the car that ran the stop sign.

Deputies say that the driver of the right-of-way car did not suffer injuries.
