RIVERSIDE, CA – Injuries Reported in Three-Vehicle Crash on 215 Freeway at Eastridge Avenue

Morning 3-Vehicle Collision on 215 Freeway in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (March 9, 2019) – Injuries were reported following a three-vehicle collision Saturday morning on 215 Freeway in Riverside.
 
The collision happened around 8:55 a.m. along the northbound lanes of the freeway at Eastridge Avenue.
 
A black Honda Odyssey, a white Dodge 3500 pickup truck and a black Honda Pilot were involved, CHP officials said. While the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, parties in Honda Pilot were injured and an ambulance unit was dispatched to give aid.
 
The severity of injuries sustained and the exact number of injured patients were not immediately known.
 
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
 
The first lane of the freeway was blocked by fire crews while they worked on the scene.
 
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the crash and liability.
