RIVERSIDE, CA – Airbags Deployed in 2-Vehicle Crash on 60 Freeway at Day Street

Pickup Truck and Sedan Collide on 60 Freeway in Riverside Injuring Two

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (March 24, 2019) – Airbags were deployed following a two-vehicle collision late Sunday afternoon on 60 Freeway in Riverside.
 
The collision happened just after 5:00 p.m. on the westbound direction of the freeway at Day Street.
 
While the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, a gray Toyota Corolla and a black Toyota Tundra were recovered in the area. Airbags were deployed in the Toyota and two occupants in the sedan were injured.
 
An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and took the patients to a hospital in unknown conditions.
 
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
 
An investigation is still ongoing to determine who was at fault and to gather all the factors involved in the accident.
