Motorcycle Collision with Car in Gardena Kills Rider
GARDENA, CA (November 04, 2019) — A man died in a motorcycle collision with a car at 135th Street and New Hampshire Avenue Thursday evening.
The police said the officers arrived at the scene at about 6:00 p.m. They found the motorcyclist on the roadway, unresponsive and not breathing.
An investigation showed that the man was riding a motorcycle westbound in the left lane of 135th. At the same time, a Ford going southbound on New Hampshire began to turn left.
The motorcyclist then collided with the car. The force of the crash ejected the rider and sent him over the hood of a Hyundai car that was stopped on 135th.
The identity of the motorcycle rider was not immediately available. Further investigation of the crash is underway.
