Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Richmond

 
RICHMOND, CA (April 19, 2019) – Early Friday morning, a man was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash at Barrett Avenue near 20th Street.
 
The incident happened around 12:35 a.m. at the intersection of Barrett Avenue and 20th Street.
 
According to police, the man was crossing the street when he was hit by a pickup truck that was traveling eastbound on Barrett Avenue.
 
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver of pickup truck reportedly took off without rendering aid.
 
At this time, authorities are still investigating the incident and on the lookout for the suspect.
