Two Cars Collide, One Catches Fire on Richmond Parkway

 
RICHMOND, CA (May 15, 2019) – Two people were hurt following a fiery crash Wednesday evening in Richmond, authorities said.
 
The crash happened just after 8:00 p.m. on southbound Richmond Parkway at Pittsburg Avenue.
 
According to Richmond police, a black Chevrolet Impala and a blue sedan collided for unknown reasons. They arrived on the scene and located the Chevrolet engulfed in flames and was wrapped around a pole. The car also sustained front-end damage.
 
All occupants were already outside of their vehicles, but two were hurt from the crash. One of the patients complained of pain.
 
Paramedics transported the patients to a hospital for proper treatment and further evaluation.
 
It is unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
