32-Year-Old Ceres Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash near Blankenburg Avenue

 
MODESTO, CA (October 28, 2018) – A man was killed early Sunday morning following a hit-and-run crash on Crows Landing Road near Blankenburg Avenue. The victim was later identified as 32-year-old Richard Green, a resident of Ceres.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officials, Green was walking in the southbound lanes of the road at approximately 3:10 AM, when he was struck by a vehicle.
 
The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at on site by emergency responders. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and immediately fled the scene.
