Richard Anthony Arriola Arrested in Crippling DUI Crash near Cobalt Road [Victorville, CA]

1 Person Hurt in Victorville Auto Accident near Cobalt Road and Luna Road

VICTORVILLE, CA (May 18, 2025) – Friday night, authorities arrested Richard Anthony Arriola after a crippling DUI crash near Cobalt Road.

The incident happened at around 9:49 p.m. near the intersection of Cobalt Road and Luna Road.

According to reports, a silver sedan rear-ended a dark red sedan.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated a female occupant of the red sedan who was trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported the trapped victim to a hospital wearing a neck brace.

Furthermore, officers arrested the male driver of the silver sedan, identified as 23-year-old Arriola, for two felony charges related to driving under the influence, causing injury.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the Victorville Police Department continued investigating the crash.
