Ricardo Aponte Killed in Jetski Accident on the Colorado River [Las Vegas, NV]

Las Vegas, NV (July 07, 2022) – On Monday, Ricardo Aponte, 43, sustained fatal injuries in a jet ski accident on the Colorado River involving Iridian Basoco, 26, of Las Vegas.

The authorities responded to the incident scene at 4:40 p.m. in the swim area at Community Park, wherein a jet ski struck four adults.

According to the investigators, Iridian Basoco lost control of the jet ski she rented. They say she entered the swim-only area and struck the four adults.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed the victims to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.

Then, the emergency rescuers airlifted Ricardo Aponte to the University Medical Center trauma center in Las Vegas with critical injuries. Ricardo Aponte died on Wednesday.

Moreover, the emergency team also airlifted another victim, a 21-year-old man, to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.

The other two victims, a 34-year-old woman, and a 30-year-old man have been treated and released.

In the meantime, the authorities are investigating the fatal accident on the Colorado River.
