60-Year-Old Culver City Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver at Washington Place and Frances Avenue
CULVER CITY, CA (November 6, 2019) – A man died in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash early Wednesday morning in Culver City.
The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. along Washington Place, just west of Frances Avenue.
According to authorities, a male pedestrian was crossing the street when a vehicle struck him. The victim was badly injured when paramedics arrived.
Despite life-saving efforts, the man did not survive and died at the scene. Authorities later identified him as Reynaldo Martinez, 60, of Culver City.
The driver that struck Martinez had fled the scene without rendering aid.
At this time, police are still investigating the incident and on the lookout for the suspect.
