Rescuers Respond to Vehicle Crash on Sunset Drive [Bellingham, WA]

Bellingham, WA (April 22, 2025) – Emergency rescuers rushed to a vehicle crash on Sunset Drive Monday morning.

It was around 10 a.m. when the collision involved a southbound dump truck and 2 northbound cars happened at the intersection with SR 542.

The accident report noted that a lane was blocked the south and northbound lanes due to the collision. 

The paramedics attended to the occupants and provided medical attention at the scene. None of them were transported.

Moreover, traffic officers said a portion of the concrete Jersey barrier separating the northbound and southbound lanes was pushed into traffic lanes due to the collision.

Troopers are investigating the cause of the traffic crash.
