Rene Cruz Killed in Three-Vehicle Collision on Limonite Avenue [Jurupa Valley, CA]

Riverside Man Killed and 4 Others Injured in 3-Car Crash near Pacific Avenue

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (September 15, 2018) – A man was killed Saturday morning and four others were hospitalized following a three-vehicle collision near Pacific Avenue. The deceased victim was later identified as 25-year-old Rene Cruz, a resident of Riverside.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, three vehicles collided on Limonite Avenue at about 9:50 AM. Events that led to the fatal crash were not immediately available.

Cruz sustained fatal injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers. Meanwhile, one adult and three juveniles were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. There is no update on their current medical conditions.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision and to identify possible contributing factors. No other information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
