Renat Eakin Injured in Sedan-SUV Crash on State Highway 14 [Washougal, WA]

Washougal, WA (August 06, 2021) – On Friday, 59-year-old Renat Eakin of Vancouver, 59-year-old Brent Eakin of Newcastle, and 30-year-old Ammar Hasan of Vancouver, were hurt in a crash on State Highway 14.

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says the incident happened at about 9:22 a.m. close to Milepost 22. 

Moreover, WSP says that Hassan driving a yellow Nissan Sentra lost his control near a curve and collided with a Ford Edge SUV from the opposite lane. 

Paramedics say that the Nissan driver was injured, as well as both occupants of the SUV. 

Furthermore, rescuers took the patients to PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center for tests and immediate care. 

Authorities say that one of the patients had serious injuries due to the crash.

State Troopers investigating the crash partially halted passage to the roadway for about 90 minutes. 

Finally, authorities say that Alcohol or drugs did not factor in the crash.
