Man Suffers Injury Following Red Bluff Accident

 
RED BLUFF, CA (February 4, 2019) – A pedestrian suffered injuries Friday afternoon when he was struck by a vehicle that lost control and crashed into a flatbed trailer on Main Street near Pine Street.
 
Per the Red Bluff Police Department, the victim appeared to be a man in his 50s who was on the sidewalk when the incident happened.
 
Around 12:20 p.m., a vehicle was traveling northbound on Main Street when its driver, described as a male in his 30s, made a hard turn to the right and struck a car before hitting a flatbed trailer at speeds of 30 mph. The crash ended with the vehicle on top of the trailer, which was hooked to a white pickup truck in front of a vacant building.
 
The pickup truck was unoccupied at the time of the collision. The severity of the injuries in which the pedestrian sustained was unavailable, but authorities are investigating this crash to learn the cause.
