Rebecca Parras Detained in DUI Two-Vehicle Accident on The Old Road and Magic Mountain Parkway
VALENCIA, CA (May 20, 2019) – A driver suffered serious injuries in a DUI two-car collision on The Old Road and Magic Mountain Parkway Tuesday evening.
The 7:45 p.m. accident drew first responders to the intersection to find two cars with damage.
Police arrested 32-year-old Rebecca Parras, of Sylmar, on suspicion of driving while under the influence.
Authorities determined she failed to stop at a red light while heading north on The Old Road. Her Chevy Impala subsequently struck a Nissan Altima, injuring its driver.
Parras was booked into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station’s jail with bail set at $100,000.
