1 Person Hurt in Albuquerque Auto Accident on Interstate 25 near Comanche Road
ALBUQUERQUE, NM (December 31, 2024) – Sunday morning, authorities arrested Rbeca Melchor following an alarming DUI crash on Interstate 25 near Comanche Road.
The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. on northbound Interstate 25 near Comanche Road.
According to the New Mexico State Police, a northbound vehicle struck a firefighter who was working in an earlier crash.
Moreover, responders transported the Albuquerque firefighter to a hospital with serious injuries.
Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the vehicle, identified as Melchor, for careless driving, hitting a person with a vehicle, and driving while intoxicated.
