77-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Boulder Highway
Las Vegas, NV (January 16, 2021) – On Thursday, a 77-year-old woman died, while 58-year-old Raymond Boulds was involved in a pedestrian accident on Boulder Highway.
The woman was crossing walking west wearing all dark clothing outside a marked crosswalk.
Just then, a motorcycle rider traveling southbound struck her.
Afterward, the motorcycle overturned and the Boulds was ejected and sustained injuries from the accident.
Immediately, the responders took Boulds and the woman to Sunrise Hospital.
The pedestrian died at the hospital. The authorities did not release her identity pending notification of family.
Meanwhile, Boulds’ injuries were minor. Also, he did not appear intoxicated.
Furthermore, police said it was initially unclear if the victim was a pedestrian or a passenger on the motorcycle.
Moreover, authorities closed Boulder Highway in both directions from Twain Avenue to Indios Avenue during the investigation.
