Moapa, NV (February 06, 2021) – On Thursday, 39-year-old Rayanne Walters of Logandale, NV, and 30-year-old Dylan Hazelhurst of Grand Junction, CO, died in a vehicle crash on Interstate 15.
The deadly crash took place at Mile Marker 101 in the southbound lanes.
Authorities determined that Walters was driving her Toyota Tacoma northbound in the southbound lanes when she struck the Mercedes Sprinter Van driven by Hazelhurst head-on.
Unfortunately, both drivers died at the scene.
The authorities closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 but reopened at around 5 a.m. the next day.
