Randy Elmore of North Dakota Killed in Interstate 40 Pedestrian Accident [Oldham County, TX]

Oldham County, TX (June 6, 2023) – On Sunday night, 51-year-old Randy Elmore of Fargo, North Dakota, sustained fatal injuries following an Interstate 40 pedestrian accident.

It was about 10:50 p.m. when the traffic collision happened on the south service road of the freeway.

Investigating officers said Elmore experienced car trouble and was walking toward Vega when a westbound 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 struck him.

The truck driver swerved to avoid hitting Elmore but could not prevent the accident. Apparently, Elmore was wearing dark clothing during that time.

Sadly, Elmore succumbed to his injuries at the accident scene.

In the meantime, the Texas Highway Patrol is investigating the Oldham County traffic accident.
