(November 19, 2022) On Friday afternoon, a 2-car crash on Ramona Expressway claimed the ilife of a motorist and injured another.

According to the California Highway Patrol the fatal crash happened around 5:02 p.m. west of Lakeview Avenue.

Reports say that collision involved a Ford SUV and a Nissan sedan. Officials say that the impact of the crash sent the sedan to the center divider.

Riverside County Fire Department extricated the Nissan driver from the wreckage. Paramedics tried to revive the motorist but the motorist succumbed to their injuries and died.
