BELL GARDENS, CA (November 9, 2020) – Friday night, authorities arrested a pursuit suspect after a crash on 710 Freeway and Florence Avenue.
 
According to reports, a suspect traveled through the South gate area and drove through multiple red lights at high speeds. Afterward, the suspect crashed into a sheriff’s department patrol car. This happened at about 9:30 p.m. near Atlantic Avenue and Florence Avenue. Then, a passenger went out of the vehicle and ran from the suspect car.
 
As the suspect continue to drive at high speeds on Florence Avenue, the vehicle collided head-on with another car. As a result, the hood fold up over the windshield.
 
Despite the head-on crash, the suspect continued speeding and tried to enter the freeway. However, he collided with a wall and ran into traffic.
 
The suspect then continued driving up a hill near the southbound side of the freeway. He then surrendered to deputies who arrested him around 9:35 p.m.
 
As of this time, the authorities haven’t clarified why they pursued the suspect. Furthermore, the time and location of the pursuit weren’t disclosed.
 
Meanwhile, reports confirmed that the car was stolen.
