Hit-and-Run Driver Still At Large after Taft Accident on Sixth Street and Center Street

 
TAFT, CA (January 21, 2021) – Tuesday night, authorities are looking for a hit-and-run driver involved in a vehicle crash on Sixth Street and Center Street.
 
According to officers, at around 6:45 p.m., a southbound gold Isuzu Rodeo ran a stop sign. Then, it drove towards oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle in the intersection.
 
After the first collision, the Isuzu continued driving and struck the front of Messenger Automotive at 531 Center Street. Then, the Isuzu drove in reverse across the street where it hit a city planter.
 
Afterward, the driver and a passenger of the Isuzu abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot.
 
Moreover, reports revealed that no injuries were sustained in the incident.
 
Also, authorities ask everyone with information about the hit-and-run driver to contact them as soon as possible.
 
The crash is under investigation.
