1 Vehicle Initiates Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision on Stockdale Highway, Suspect at Large

 
Bakersfield, CA (July 28, 2020)– The Bakersfield Police Department are searching for the suspect in Stockdale Highway hit-and-run crash which killed Deborah Ann Geneau.
 
BPD released images of the car wanted after causing fatal multi-vehicle collision last week July 26.
 
The original report said that there were three vehicles going westbound on Stockdale Highway. Suddenly, the wanted vehicle veered off and collided with other vehicles on the road.
 
The impact of the collision made one of the vehicles landed on another vehicle’s roof. The driver whose vehicle went airborne sustained minor injuries.
 
Furthermore, the eastbound vehicle went across the center divider before it crashed, said BPD. The driver of that vehicle,Deborah Ann Geneau, died at the scene.

Search for Hit-and-Run Crash Suspect

 
Meanwhile, the vehicle who started the chain-reaction collision fled the scene and is still at large. BPD is now asking for the cooperation of anyone who has seen the vehicle. It was identified as a 2010 or new silver sedan with tinted windows. Moreover, BPD said the car probably had minor damage to the driver’s side.
