Police Officer Hospitalized after Car Collision on Juanita Street and Central Avenue [Hemet, CA]

1 Injured in Hemet Car Accident

 
HEMET, CA (March 7, 2019) – A Hemet Police Department officer sustained upper-body injuries and was hospitalized after a collision on March 5.
 
Authorities revealed that at 5:35 p.m., a green Honda del Sol and an on-duty officer cashed. In addition, police state the accident was on Juanita Street and Central Avenue.
 
“The officer was transported to a local hospital via ambulance. However, the officer was alert and speaking with investigators and medical staff,” a police statement revealed.
 
The medical personnel treated the Honda at the scene and conversed with the detectives.
 
The authorities are still conducting an investigation. They also said that the officer is now in stable condition.
