2 Injured in Las Vegas Car Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 30, 2019) – A Las Vegas Metro Officer and civilian sustained injuries in a car accident on Charleston Boulevard.
Around 4:35 a.m., a marked Metropolitan Police Department vehicle with active emergency lights and siren traveled south on Lamb Boulevard, Lt. David Gordon said.
The officer then steered east on Charleston Boulevard when a black Nissan Sentra eastbound on Charleston Boulevard hit it.
The two drivers complained of pain and responders took them to a hospital. The collision also left both vehicles with moderate damage.
By 6:00 a.m., some lanes are closed. Authorities advised motorist to avoid the area. Police did not release more information.
