BURBANK, CA (July 8, 2020) – Tuesday afternoon, a police chase that began in Glendale ended with a crash near Olive Avenue in Burbank.
 
The Glendale police officer responded to a report of a vehicle blocking traffic around 2:30 p.m. Glendale Police Department Sgt. Christian Hauptmann said that the incident happened near Grandview Avenue and Glenoaks Boulevard.
 
According to Hauptmann, the driver “started flipping officers off.” As the officers tried to pull him over, he fled and the high-speed chase started.
 
The driver went onto the Ventura (134) Freeway at a speed of over 100 mph. As a result, officers called off the dangerous pursuit.
 
However, the pursuit ended when the suspect struck his car into Gate 7 near Olive Avenue at Warner Bros.
 
Afterward, the suspect fled on foot. The authorities set up a perimeter to look for him. At this time, it’s unclear whether the authorities caught the suspect.
