Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 70 in Pleasant Grove

 
PLEASANT GROVE, CA (March 31, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed following a high-speed crash Sunday night in Pleasant Grove.
 
The fatal crash happened a little after 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of southbound Highway 70 and southbound Highway 99.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when it slid off the roadway, crashed into the ramp and went over the bridge. Several other vehicles stopped in the area.
 
Law enforcement responded to the scene and declared the rider dead. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending family notification.
 
Both lanes of the intersection were closed for the on-scene investigation.
