PINON HILLS, CA – Man Killed after Struck by Semi Truck on Highway 138 at Beekley Road

Tractor-Trailer Fatally Struck Male Pedestrian on Highway 138 in Pinon Hills

 
PINON HILLS, CA (February 15, 2019) – A man was killed after being struck by a semi truck early Friday morning in Pinon Hills.
 
The fatal incident happened around 2:55 a.m. on Highway 138 at Beekley Road.
 
According to the CHP, a male pedestrian was walking eastbound on the highway when he was struck by the tractor-trailer.
 
The driver of the tractor-trailer immediately pulled to the shoulder and called 911.
 
The victim was flown to Antelope Valley Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately available. He was only described as a white male in his mid-twenties wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans with black sweatpants, and Vans shoes.
 
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact CHP’s Victorville office at 760-241-1186.
