Scott McDonough Arrested in Sunn Avenue Fatal Crash

Fountain Valley, CA (November 16, 2022) On Tuesday morning, 62-year-old Phong Khuu of Garden Grove died in a DUI crash on Los Coches Street.

Reports say that the fatal vehicle-bicycle crash happened at about 4:30 a.m. at the intersection with Sunn Avenue.

Furthermore, officials say that a gray Honda CRV making a U-turn on Sun Avenue fatally struck Khuu riding their bicycle along the avenue.

Fountain Valley Police arrested 43-year-old Scott McDonough on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and DUI causing injury.
