Male Victim Pinned Under Vehicle in Potrero Trailer Accident

 
POTRERO, CA (June 21, 2019) – A male victim died following an apparent trailer accident at Potrero County Park on Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened around 5:00 p.m., at Potrero County Park, northeast of Tecate. The park is a part of the Potrero Campground in the far southern reaches of San Diego County.
 
According to reports, the victim was described only as a male. He suffered fatal injuries when a vehicle fell off or rolled off a trailer and pinned him underneath it. He died at the scene.
 
Shortly before 6 p.m., personnel from the county Medical Examiner’s Office responded to investigate the death, according to a Highway Patrol incident log.
 
The name of the victim is not yet released. Additional information about the incident was not immediately available.
