Person Killed in FM 2978 Collision [Harris County, TX]

Harris County, TX (December 15, 2023) – A person was killed and three were injured following an FM 2978 collision Thursday morning.

Investigators said the fatal collision happened near Hufsmith-Kohrville Road involving an 18-wheeler and another vehicle.

Sadly, an occupant in the vehicle was declared dead and three others were transported to the hospital in fair condition.

Investigators closed the northbound lanes of FM 2978 as they investigated.
