Marc Anthony Watkins Arrested after DUI Crash on Interstate 5

 
VALENCIA, CA (September 15, 2019) – One person suffered injuries in a DUI crash on Interstate 5, Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Highway 126. 21-year-old Marc Anthony Watkins was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup when it slammed into the rear of a Toyota Tundra pickup.
 
A passenger inside the Toyota suffered minor injuries. However, it is unknown whether or not the victim required hospitalization.
 
Authorities arrested Watkins on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol causing injury. On September 16, Watkins was released from custody on bond shortly before 4:30 AM. He is scheduled to appear in San Fernando Superior Court on October 7.
