Person Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 86 [Salton City, CA]

Rear-End Collision Near Treadwell Boulevard Sends One to Hospital

Salton City, CA (July 14, 2022) – On Wednesday, a person sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 86.

The vehicle collision took place around 9:25 near Treadwell Boulevard involving a black sedan and a white Dodge pick-up.

According to the investigators, one of the vehicles rear-ended the other vehicle.

As a result, one of the vehicles rolled off the roadway. Sadly, one person incurred injuries. 

The paramedics rushed the victim to Pioneers Memorial Hospital in unknown condition.

Officers say one of those involved rode into another vehicle and left the scene. The vehicle was last seen southbound on the highway.

In the meantime, officers are investigating the two-vehicle collision near Treadwell Boulevard.
