Person Ejected From Vehicle, Died in Crash on State Route 94

 
Lemon Grove, CA (December 25, 2020) – On Christmas Eve, at least one person died after being thrown from a vehicle in a crash on State Route 94.
 
The fatal accident happened at about 8:10 p.m. between the exits to Federal Boulevard and Broadway and College Avenue.
 
Witnesses said at least two vehicles were involved in the incident including one that may have overturned.
 
One vehicle ended up rested on the freeway, while the other may have ended up behind a business on Federal Boulevard.
 
Responders at the scene were initially unable to find at least one occupant of one of the vehicles. They thought that anyone who was in the vehicle may have been thrown out.
 
A helicopter equipped with thermal imaging also responded to the scene.
 
Then, nearly an hour after the accident, the authorities located an unresponsive person about 300 feet from a vehicle.
 
Responding officers also requested personnel from the county Medical Examiner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, no further details about the crash are available as of yet.
