Person Dies in Interstate 280 Collision [Peninsula, CA]

Fatality Reported in Highway 1 Collision

Peninsula, CA (December 4, 2024) – A person was fatally injured following an Interstate 280 collision Thursday night.

The deadly crash happened about 10:45 p.m. on the northbound freeway at Highway 1 junction near the Eastmoor Avenue exit. 

Officers said the wreck involved a Honda and another unidentified vehicle.

Sadly, the rescuers declared a person dead at the crash scene.

The authorities withheld the identity of the deceased pending notification of kin.
