I-70 Traffic Accident Results in Injuries
Columbia, MO (December 2, 2024) – Four people were hurt following an Interstate 70 collision early Wednesday morning.
It was minutes before 3:30 a.m. when the multi-vehicle head-on crash happened at the 115.8-mile marker.
Investigators said a 2013 Nissan Murano driven by a 20-year-old Grandview man struck a Toyota Camry and an Acura RDX head-on in the eastbound lanes.
As a result, a 25-year-old Grandview man in the Nissan sustained serious injuries, and another passenger, a 28-year-old man incurred moderate injuries. They were both rushed to University Hospital.
Moreover, two people riding the Camry, a 21-year-old woman from Fort Benning, Georgia, and a 27-year-old San Diego man, sustained minor injuries and went to University Hospital.
The authorities are investigating.
