People Injured in F Street Traffic Accident [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (December 24, 2022) – On Friday afternoon, people sustained injuries in an F Street traffic accident.

The authorities immediately responded to the accident scene just before 1 p.m. in the area of 16th Street.

According to the officers, a 36-year-old man was driving a westbound Ford F-150 pickup truck when he rear-ended an Audi A3.

The 50-year-old Audi driver pulled over but his car was again rear-ended and turned south onto 16th Street.

Reports say the Ford driver continued driving onto 16th Street and hit a 41-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, who were on the west sidewalk.

Right away, the paramedics rushed the Ford driver and the pedestrians to a hospital. The female pedestrian sustained significant neurological damage and her condition is life-threatening. The male pedestrian incurred an open fracture on the lower part of his left leg.

Moreover, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said that a person wound up pinned under the pickup truck. 

Meanwhile, there is no report if the Audi driver sustained any injury from the collision.
