People Injured in Highway 20 2-Vehicle Crash [Yuba County, CA]

Yuba County, CA (April 9, 2025) – People were hurt following a Highway 20 2-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.

It was around 11:30 a.m. when the collision happened at the intersection with North Levee Road, at the entrance of the Recology Yuba-Sutter Transfer Station.

According to the authorities, a black 1994 Chevy was at the stop sign of the intersection of N Levee Road and thought there was a break in traffic while trying to drive onto the highway. 

The car drove into the path of a red 1994 Chevy that was traveling east on the freeway.

The red Chevy wasn’t able to stop in time and turned left to try and avoid a collision but struck the left front of the black Chevy. 

Several people, including the black Chevy’s 90-year-old driver, were transported with major injuries. His passenger, an 85-year-old woman, complained of pain and was also transported. Both of them were from Live Oak.

Moreover, the four people in the red Chevy, all from Marysville, complained of pain and were also transported.
