Cabana Road Collision Kills Toyota Corolla Driver

Sunrise Manor, NV (January 29, 2023) – On Friday, a driver died and seven other people sustained injuries in a vehicle crash on East Desert Inn Road.

The fatal accident took place past 12:30 p.m. at the intersection with Cabana Drive.

According to the authorities, a Toyota Corolla was southbound on Cabana Drive while a Toyota Highlander was northbound.

Suddenly, the Toyota Corolla crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with the front of the Toyota Highlander.

The rescue team rushed the seven people inside the Toyota Highlander including five juveniles to Sunrise Hospital.

Meanwhile, the Toyota Corolla was also transported to Sunrise Hospital where he died from his injuries. 

Investigating officers said impairment is not believed to be a contributing factor in the Cabana Road collision.
