People Hospitalized in DUI Crash on Aero Drive in Serra Mesa

 
San Diego, CA (December 3, 2020) – On Wednesday, a 48-year-old woman and her passenger were injured while police arrested a 58-year-old man in a DUI crash on Aero Drive.
 
The accident happened at about 10 a.m. near Sandrock Road.
 
The crash impact propelled the woman’s SUV into a tree.
 
The rescuers took the woman and her passenger, her 18-year-old son, to a hospital, where they had surgery.
 
Furthermore, a video shows the front-end of an Audi SUV crashed into a tree along a sidewalk on Aero Drive and a severely damaged Tesla along the curb.
 
Also, a witness said the Tesla was traveling about 90 mph before it crashed into the SUV.
 
The involved driver struggled to complete a sobriety test on a sidewalk. Police handcuffed him and placed him in the back of a police vehicle.
