Wichita Falls City Bus Crash Injures Three

Wichita Falls, TX (January 13, 2023) – On Monday, three people were injured in a Seymour Highway two-vehicle collision.

It was about 2:47 p.m. when the collision between a city bus and another vehicle took place near the intersection with Baylor Street.

According to Wichita Falls Police Department PIO Sgt. Charlie Eipper, a car behind the city bus attempted to switch lanes to pass, however, it was unable to because a school bus was stopping in the other lane.

The car did not slow down in time and crashed into the back-left side of the bus.

Reports say that three people were transported to a hospital, and their injuries were considered “nothing major.”

None of the car occupants were reported injured.
