Pedestrians Injured in E Southcross Boulevard Crash [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (August 2, 2024) – Two people have been injured in an E Southcross Boulevard crash Thursday.

It was past noon when the traffic accident happened in the 4000 block area, west of S WW White Road.

Responding officers said a westbound vehicle on Southcross Boulevard lost control and crashed into a bus stop hitting two people. The vehicle also struck a utility pole before it rolled over.

The two pedestrians were transported to the hospital with one of them suffering from serious injuries from being possibly pinned under the bus stop bench.

Meanwhile, the paramedics treated the driver at the accident scene.

The authorities are investigating why he lost control of the vehicle and there is no information if he will face charges.
