Fresno, CA (February 05, 2021) – On Friday, a man lost his life after two vehicles struck and killed him in an accident on Highway 99.
 
Authorities said the victim is believed to be a transient.
 
Apparently, he was trying to run across the highway at Prosperity Avenue when two successive drivers struck him.
 
Unfortunately, the authorities pronounced the unidentified man dead at the scene.
 
CHP officers said the two drivers remained at the scene. Both of them were uninjured but shaken by the incident.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities closed the northbound lanes of the highway for several hours after the crash. Lanes were reopened after the investigation.
