Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on El Dorado Street Near Church Street [Stockton, CA]

Person Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in Stockton

 
STOCKTON, CA (May 14, 2019) – Authorities are investigating Friday’s deadly hit-and-run pedestrian accident on El Dorado Street near Church Street.
 
According to officers, the fatal event occurred around 10:46 p.m.
 
Reports noted that a dark-colored pickup truck struck the pedestrian on El Dorado Street. It’s unclear at this point whether the victim had been walking or riding a bicycle at the time.
 
The suspected hit-and-run driver fled the scene shortly after and continued north on El Dorado Street. Meanwhile, the victim suffered grave injuries and died shortly after.
 
The San Joaquin County coroner’s office has yet to release the man’s identity.
