Woman Hurt in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident on Arville Street

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 17, 2019) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries after a vehicle struck him/her on June 13 on Arville Street.
 
Authorities came to the scene around 11:40 a.m. on Arville Street and West Charleston Boulevard after a woman crossing outside of a marked crosswalk got struck by a pickup, Metro Lt. Adrian Beas revealed.
 
Beas added that the responders transported the victim to the hospital with serious injuries.
 
Authorities ruled out impairment as a factor in the crash. Meanwhile, the pickup driver stayed at the scene.
 
The area remained closed for multiple hours. Around 5:00 a.m., the lanes reopened.
